Glenties group activist Brian Carr has been chosen as a Sinn Féin candidate for the native elections in June.

Brian joins sitting councillor John Sheamuis Ó Fearraigh on the social gathering ticket for the Glenties MD, with a 3rd candidate to be confirmed in the end.

Brian beforehand ran for election as an unbiased in 2014 and for Sinn Féin in 2019.
