Busy week internationally for Letterkenny AC members!

It was a busy week for Letterkenny AC members in Dubai, Spain, Leitrim and Carndonagh.

Effectively completed to Letterkenny AC’s John Hughes who was racing on Sunday of final within the Tony McGowan 10k in Drumshanbo, County Leitrim. There was a big discipline of 358 for this race. John completed in a really respectable time of 46.51 and was 4th M60.

The Ulster Cross Nation Senior Cross Nation Championships have been held in Carndonagh final weekend.  Effectively completed Donal Farren who completed in 9th place.

In different information Barry Mackey competed within the Harbour 5k, Marina, Dubai. Barry completed 1st within the M50+ age class in a time of 19:32.  Effectively completed Barry.

Membership star Ann-Marie McGlynn ran an excellent race in Seville final weekend to complete in time of two.33.31.

Everybody within the membership may be very pleased with Ann-Marie, an impressive athlete.

Eoin Kelly ran within the 400m on the Nationwide Indoor Championships and Eoin certified out of his warmth to achieve the semi finals. Eoin ran 50.72 within the semi closing.

LAC meets Tuesday 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval operating session, Thursday night for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a future. 

All runs begin on the Aura.  All ranges catered for and inspired.

Match 4 Life which is run by LAC together with the Donegal Sports activities Partnership takes place each Monday at 5.45pm on the observe on the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny. 

The intention of the programme is to achieve out to those that want to enhance their health and all are most welcome any Monday they select to attend. 

Match 4 Life will not be about pace however health and the coaches from LAC notably welcome newcomers.
