Convoy man to face trial after severe crash

A e-book of proof has been served on a person charged with careless driving inflicting severe bodily hurt in a Ballybofey automotive crash.

Michael Slevin will go earlier than Letterkenny Circuit Courtroom in reference to the collision at Chestnut Street, Ballybofey, on October 26, 2022.

The 28-year-old, of Corradoey, Convoy, appeared at Letterkenny District Courtroom for the service of the e-book.

Garda Campbell gave proof of serving the e-book of proof on Slevin at 11.39am on Monday at Letterkenny courthouse.

Slevin faces one cost, that of careless driving inflicting severe bodily hurt.

Sergeant Gerard Dalton advised the courtroom that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has consented for the accused to be forwarded to the subsequent sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Courtroom, which commences on April 23.

Decide Eiteain Cunningham made an order returning Slevin for trial. A bit 56 order was made in relation to movies of interviews and the alibi warning was administered.
