It was a day of nostalgia as diggers started tumbling the previous ESB constructing in Letterkenny yesterday.

The once-bustling office on the Port Street is being demolished to make means for the brand new ALPHA Innovation Centre.

The multi-million 7 and 8-storey Alpha and Bets buildings may have a mixture of private and non-private areas for SMEs and entrepreneurs. The buildings can be located on lands between Pearse Street and Port Street.

ALPHA goals to ascertain Donegal as a “hotbed of innovation” with its iconic constructing opening summer time of 2025.

Letterkenny Councillor Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly stated the enterprise base may have enormous financial progress advantages in Donegal.

The mission is supported by funds from Donegal County Council and Enterprise Eire below the umbrella of Donegal 2040 Designated Exercise Firm, in partnership with Donegal County Council.
