A person who arrived on the residence of his ex-partner in Donegal and started shouting within the letterbox has been remanded in custody.

The person, who’s aged in his 30s and can’t be named as a way to shield the id of the girl, has been charged with breaching a safety order that had been made in courtroom.

The accused man was remanded in custody when he appeared at Letterkenny District Courtroom earlier than Choose Éiteáin Cunningham.

The person was charged with an offence opposite to part 33 (1) of the Home Violence Act, 2018.

It was alleged that he contravened a safety order opposite to part 10 of the Home Violence Act in that, the day after the order was made, he arrived intoxicated to the girl’s residence at a location in County Donegal and was down on his knees shouting within the letterbox of the door and placing the applicant in worry.

Proof of the arrest, cost and warning of the person was given by the use of schedule to the courtroom.
