A person who was caught driving at 179km/h has prevented a driving disqualification.
Letterkenny District Court docket heard particulars of a case involving Adrian McTaggart.
The 28-year-old, with an tackle at Kilconell Glebe, Kilmacrennan, was charged with the offence at Coolboy, Letterkenny.
Sergeant Gerard Dalton informed the court docket that Gardai have been working a pace verify at 12.02am after they clocked McTaggart driving at 179km/h. The street in query is ruled by a 100km/h pace restrict.
