Man to face trial for endangering lifetime of on-duty Garda

A 43-year-old man is to be despatched ahead for trial for alleged offences together with assaulting a garda on responsibility, endangerment whereas driving, and refusing to provide a pattern.

Maurice Murphy of three Aghadrumsee Park, Rosslea, Fermanagh was earlier than Ballyshannon District Court docket on Friday.

Sergeant Stewart Doyle gave proof of arresting the defendant, saying that Murphy made no reply when charged.

Inspector Angela Cummins advised the court docket that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) had instructed that the defendant be prosecuted by indictment on the circuit court docket.
