Letterkenny AC’s Ann-Marie McGlynn dominated the thirty fourth Spar Omagh half marathon on the weekend to win in an outstanding time of 1:15:26.
Different LAC members who participated embrace Michael Harkin who ran 1:24:32, Mark Nee who ran 1:34:08, Derek Campbell ran 1:34:58, Gary Kearns ran 1:39:50, Mark McFadden ran 1:40:23, Graeme Michie ran 1:47:55 and Martin O’Donnell who ran 1:50:03.
On the Hugh Gallagher memorial race in Milford Philip McHugh ran a superb time of 15:54. Nicely finished Philip.

Three LAC athletes made the journey to London final weekend to take part within the marathon. Paul Cullen crossed the road in a superb time of two:39:48, Aidan McKenna ran 3:16::21 whereas Darren Beecroft ran 3:41:52.
Congratulations to Claire McGuigan who received the ladies’s race on the Larne 10 miler in a time of 60.48. On a day of wind and rain it was a complete victory with the 2nd place finisher Elisoa Crawford ending in 63.51
Congratulations to Donal Farren who ran a unbelievable time of 14.59 on the IUAA Monitor and Subject championships.
Final week Errigal School hosted its annual 5km street race.

LAC meets Tuesday 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval working session, Thursday night for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a future.
All runs begin on the Aura. All ranges catered for and inspired.
Match 4 Life which is run by LAC along with the Donegal Sports activities Partnership takes place each Monday at 5.45pm on the observe on the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny.
The goal of the programme is to achieve out to those that want to enhance their health and all are most welcome any Monday they select to attend.
