A mother-of-four has been given a suspended sentence following a spate of thefts in Letterkenny.

Among the many incidents, Zaneta Adamajtys stole from a charity store.

Adamajtys, a 37-year-old of Oliver Plunkett Home, Oliver Plunkett Street, Letterkenny, was earlier than Letterkenny District Courtroom on Tuesday charged with three incidents of theft.

On October 9, 2023, Adamajtys stole property, particularly a necklace and fragrance, from McFadden’s Pharmacy, Oldtown, Letterkenny. The stolen gadgets had been valued at €100 and the incident was captured on CCTV.

On December 4, 2023, Adamajtys took a gown high, valued at €213, from the St Vincent de Paul store.

Adamajtys elected to have her case heard on the District Courtroom and pleaded responsible.

Mr Patsy Gallagher, solicitor for Adamajtys, stated his consumer was affected by ‘depressive difficulties’ on the time.
