Groups from the East Donegal Pony Membership had plenty of victories on the Nationwide Present Leaping Championships in Wexford.

5 riders travelled to Wexford final week, having beforehand certified to compete for the Space 6 counties of Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon and Longford on the Irish Pony Membership Nationwide championships.

Within the present leaping Groups part, Senior riders Tara Brennan from Creeslough, on Carnone Annabelle, and Ellie Simms, Milford, on Carnone Diamond Seashore, joined forces with Longford’s Katie & Calum Duignan. They put in spectacular performances over a difficult 1.15m Open course and claimed the first place place for the workforce.

Éabha Brennan on Millfields Killnascully and Sophie Bonner on Riverfield Kannafanta. They took 2nd place within the Groups Robbie Bailey Showjumping.

Creeslough’s Éabha Brennan, on Millfields Killnascully, together with Dungloe’s Sophie Bonner on Riverfield Kanna Fanta, teamed up with Leitrim’s Emily Quinn and Aoibhinn O’Neill. They jumped double clears to position 2nd out of over 30 groups within the 90cm Robbie Bailey Present Leaping competitors.

Within the particular person competitions, Ellie Simms positioned sixth within the Open Showjumping, whereas Éabha Brennan, Sophie Bonner and Chloe McGlynn put in worthy performances within the Mixed Coaching competitors, narrowly lacking out on getting positioned.
