Donegal man Niall Timony overcame a private battle to take house a Silver medal from the Irish Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship on the weekend.

Taking to Fb, he mentioned it was an enormous day for him yesterday, stepping again on the competitors mats after a prolonged break.

“Struggling majorly from extreme nervousness, I haven’t competed in 4 and a bit years,” he mentioned.
